White Plains, NY — County Legislator Terry Clements (D – New Rochelle, Pelham, Pelham Manor) is the pushing for the rehabilitation of a section of Lincoln Avenue in Pelham. She has requested that the work be included in the County Executive’s upcoming 2020 capital budget proposal.

The request relates to a heavily-trafficked, half-mile stretch of Lincoln Avenue between the New Rochelle/Pelham line and First Avenue, and would include resurfacing and roadway repairs.

Clements, who formally made the request in a letter to the County Executive at the end of September, said, “This stretch of road has been in disrepair for some time and I have heard concerns about it from a number of my constituents.”

The County Executive’s capital budget proposal is due to be delivered to the Board of Legislators in the coming weeks.
