The Pelham Chamber of Commerce hosted Spring into Pelham on Saturday with an Easter egg hunt and market with local organizations and small businesses.

Around 1,500 eggs were scattered along Fifth Avenue, including a few dozen golden eggs that would allow for the redemption of a prize sponsored by a small business chosen at random. Visitors were able to see the Easter Bunny being driven in a convertible up and down Fifth Avenue and receive candy from him. The Village Vibe provided free hot chocolate, and the Pelham Civics offered free masks to all attendees.

The Pelham Art Center and 200 Fifth Avenue hosted the market, in which small businesses set up booths for attendees to browse and shop. Retail participants included Tig & Peach and Thrive Barre & Fitness, with dining options such as Walter’s Hot Dogs and Chestnut Baked Goods. A Pelham Girl Scout troop set up a booth for their continued work on their Bronze Award goal of changing the world.

With Stephen Byfield as the event DJ playing upbeat tunes for all ages to enjoy and two professional photographers taking family portraits, the event drew families from all over Pelham to enjoy the festivities.
