Manor fire and police dispatched to downed wire on Pelhamdale Avenue
The Pelham Manor Police and Fire departments were dispatched to 955 Pelhamdale Ave. for a downed wire Tuesday evening.
Despite the wire being down, nearby houses all appeared to have power. Two police cars closed off both ends of the street. Pelham Manor Engines 1 and 2 and Ladder 3 were at the scene. At about 9:30 p.m., the departments opened the street after closing the southwestern side of the sidewalk with yellow tape.
No injuries were reported.
