Alfonso Migliarini – Nov. 22

Alfonso “Allye” Joseph Migliarini, a lifelong resident of Pelham Manor, passed away on November 22nd, 2021. He was 53 years old. Born in Mount Vernon, New York to Tullio and Diana Migliarini, Allye was the oldest of 3 children. Allye was raised in Pelham where he attended Siwanoy Elementary School and Iona Grammar and Preparatory School. After graduating Iona Prep, Allye would attend Mercy College and Westchester Community College where he would receive an Associate’s Degree in Architecture. As a child, Allye loved playing baseball, and continued playing softball for various Pelham night league teams as an adult.

After graduating college, Allye entered the family business, Detco Construction. Construction was a perfect career for Allye; even at 7 years old he could be found with a hammer and saw helping his dad on jobs. He worked with his dad for years before taking over the business, and then eventually showing his son AJ the ropes. In his spare time, Allye would give back to his community whether it was supporting the Westchester B.L.U.E Foundation or lending a helping hand to anyone who needed one.

Allye loved working with his hands but his biggest love was for his family. Allye was blessed with two wonderful children, Alicia and AJ, who he loved traveling with and coaching all of their little league teams. In 2014 Allye would meet the love of his life, Francine Ardisi. They met on a friend’s front porch in Pelham and as they say, the rest is history. Allye and Francine would get married in 2020.

Allye was a wonderful husband and father as well as a charitable and good hearted person. He will be remembered as generous, lovable and hardworking – always concerned about those around him and always ready to help out a friend.

Allye is survived by his wife Francine, his children; Alicia and AJ, his parents; Tullio and Diana, his two sisters Stacey (Brian) Smith and Susan (Tony) Mastrolia, and his stepdaughters Nicole (JonEric) DaCruz and Kristina Campion (fiancé Robert D’Albora). He will be deeply missed by his niece Briana, his Godson/nephew Anthony and his granddaughter Charlee, as well as everyone who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Allye’s life took place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, New York on Sunday November 28th from 12:00-6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial took place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church located at 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor, New York on Monday November 29th at 10:00am.
