Nicholas John Nesi of Mount Vernon, New York, passed away on April 27, 2022. He was 72 years old. Born to Jimmy and Annie Petraglia Nesi.  Nicholas was one of three children. Nicholas attended Pelham Memorial High School and played for their football and wrestling teams. Following graduation, Nicholas enlisted in the United States Air Force. He spent twenty years with the U.S. Air Force and traveled the world during those years.

Nicholas will be remembered as hardworking, helpful, generous, and kind. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Nicholas is survived by his siblings: Vincent Nesi and Francis Nesi-Betro (Joe Betro), his nephew; James Nesi, his niece; Stephanie (Will) Stutz, and by his numerous cousins.

A celebration of Nicholas’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham NY on Sunday, May 1st from 1-5pm. A grave side service will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 10 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne NY on Monday, May 2^nd at 10:00am.
