PELHAM, NY – September 22, 2023 – In a recent community-driven initiative, the Pelham community showcased its unwavering commitment to making a difference.

The Pelham Funeral Home’s blood donation drive saw a significant outpouring of support, with numerous community members stepping up to contribute. It is noteworthy that each blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives. Such actions are even more crucial given the often-overlooked fact that donated blood only has a shelf life of 56 days, making continuous contributions vital.

In line with the initial commitment to match blood donations with financial support, Mr. Clive Anderson, Director of Pelham Funeral Home, penned a generous check for $600. This donation will be channeled directly into Pelham Together initiatives, continuing to support and nurture the youth within our community.

Mr. Anderson expressed his gratitude, stating, “The turnout and dedication from our community have been truly humbling. It’s not just about the act of donation but about the collective spirit of Pelham coming together. I’m honored to contribute alongside each and every donor.”

The Pelham community is encouraged to continue supporting such initiatives, emphasizing the lasting impact of their contributions.
