Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Pelham Union Free School District. The Pelham Examiner publishes press releases in the form received as a service to the community.

Hutchinson 4th & 5th grade students are learning the fundamentals of engineering thanks to a partnership with the PMHS Science Honor Society. Led by senior Sienna Giueseppi, the school is piloting an afterschool engineering clinic. In a session held on March 21, Sienna and other high school students taught students the basics of aerodynamics and participants designed, created and tested paper airplanes trying to find models that flew in the air for the most amount of time and traveled the greatest distance. Thank you to our high school students for bringing this incredible program to Hutchinson!
