Equipment issue causes power outage on half of Fifth Avenue

Outage Map from Con Edison

A portion of Fifth Avenue has been left without power on Sunday morning, beginning around 9:00 a.m. According to Con Edison’s outage map, the outage occurred due to “equipment problems,” leaving storefronts beyond Annie’s Nails & Spa to remain without electricity.

Con Edison’s crew arrived at the scene. Con Edison’s website also reports that outage restoration will be done by 6:00 p.m. today. Additional information has yet to be announced.

Con Edison workers outside of Pelham Art Center at 12:55 p.m.

Renters from the apartment complexes on Fifth Avenue have yet to report any outages to Con Edison.
