The Pelham Pride Planning Committee is delighted to announce events all month long during June, including their annual Pride Celebration in town Saturday, June 13 from 2 to 4:30 PM at Gazebo Park across from the train station. This FREE family inclusive event welcomes all families and community members, 2SLGBTQIA+ and allies alike, to come celebrate Pride month.
Celebration events and activities include bounce houses and trampoline by Universal Moms, face painting and temporary tattoos, several art activities by Pelham Art Center, Pelham Girl Scouts, PTAC, and Honey Notes Affirmation & Candle Bar, letter writing to trans folks for Point of Pride, information from The Loft Center, tarot card pulls by amanda & the arcana, and more! Treats include free ice cream, free popcorn from the Pelham Picture House, and free cotton candy sponsored by Huguenot Church.Â
Pelham Pride June Events:
– All month long the Pelican Room will feature a special Harvey Milk Pride latte topped with fruity pebbles!
– Sunday, June 7th from 12-2:30 PM: Drag Queen Brunch with Kitty Kaboodlez at Pelham Rails
– Saturday, June 13th from 2-4:30 PM: Free Pelham Pride Celebration at Gazebo Park
– Sunday, June 14th from 1-2 PM: Free Drag Queen Family Friendly Crafting & Reading Time with Kitty Kaboodlez at Honey Notes (10 and under, RSVP to [email protected])
– Tuesday, June 16th from 7-8 PM: Free Uncovering Westchester LGBTQ+ History at the Pelham LibraryÂ
– Wednesday, June 17th at 7:30 PM: Free screening of But I’m a Cheerleader at the Pelham PicturehouseÂ
– Thursday, June 25th from 6-8 PM: Pride Figure Drawing event at the Pelham Art Center with Kitty Kaboodlez (registration required)

I was so happy to drive past the new Police plaza and see the Pride Flag displayed in the window. I wonder if the Manor will be inclusive as well (fingers crossed).
