Pelham Art Center is pleased to introduce its Spring 2026 interns: Olivia Brucker, Claret Onuh, Sophia Riviello, Cheyenne Stephens, and Shannon Ava Whitney.
Pelham Art Center’s internship program welcomes high school and college students seeking hands-on experience in a community-based nonprofit arts organization. Interns gain valuable skills while contributing to a variety of initiatives, including program implementation, special events, exhibition development, research, administration, and community engagement.
Throughout the spring semester, this talented group of interns has played an integral role in Pelham Art Center’s programming. They have assisted with public art events, organized and curated the exhibition RELICS: Ancient to Modern, and are currently planning and coordinating Art Happening, a community celebration taking place on Saturday, June 20, from 1 to 4 PM.
The event will feature hands-on art-making stations, a public art installation based on a design created by the interns, and a small art market showcasing local creativity.
“We are incredibly fortunate to work with such creative and bright young people,” said Fiona Agababian, Gallery and Teen Programming Coordinator. “Their enthusiasm, leadership, and artistic vision have made a meaningful impact on our programs and community.”
