Village of Pelham police blotter: June 10-11

Sunday, June 10

3:41 a.m. – Caller reports that her husband was having severe abdominal pain; an ambulance was called to the scene and he was taken to Montefiore Medical Center in New Rochelle.

10:24 a.m. – A suspicious idling vehicle was seen on Corlies Avenue; it turned out to be a man sleeping in his car.

11:45 a.m. – A wallet was found; a relative of the owner was contacted, and the owner alerted to pick it up later.

3:39 p.m. – Leaves, branches and other yard refuse were left in bags outside a home on First Avenue, which is a violation of village code, as that day was not a yard refuse pick-up day. Resident was subsequently ticketed.

5:13 p.m. – A woman called to report an unwanted party; someone was knocking at her door whom she did not want there.

5:56 p.m. – Officers dispatched to a false alarm on Boulevard Avenue; the door had been left open and everything was in good order.
