Panel on climate change’s impact on N.Y. agriculture set for June 6

“Confronting Climate Change: Its Impacts on New York’s Agriculture, Forests and Neighborhood Landscapes” will be the second in a series of workshops on the regional impacts we can expect from climate change on June 6 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.

The cost is $25.00. Breakfast and registration will run from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Four speakers, all experts in their fields, will present from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served at noon. The workshop is sponsored by the Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District as well as Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County, Watershed Agricultural Council, The Native Plant Center at Westchester County, and the Westchester County departments of Planning and Parks, Recreation and Conservation.
