American Legion Pelham Post #50 has once again been selected by the Town Board to coordinate this year’s Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th.  We would like to invite you and all the members of your organization to join with us in honoring those Pelham residents who gave their lives in the service of their country.

This year’s Grand Marshall is Town Supervisor Peter DiPaola who is retiring after over 40 years of service to the Pelham Community as a coach, Trustee and Mayor of Pelham Manor, Town Council member and Supervisor , member of the Pelham Civics, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, PACT and Communicant and lifelong parishioner of OLPH Church.

As always, we ask that your group gather at 10:45 AM at the Esplanade in Pelham Manor across from the Manor Club.  You will be assigned a spot in the parade by a member of Post #50.  Please be so kind as to indicate your participation by sending the name of your Organization, the member in charge, the approximate number marching, any special needs of your group, the number of cars driving in the parade, along with your contact phone or e-mail to Past Commander Joe Durnin by text at 914 882-1425 or e-mail at [email protected].

We also ask that any member of the military, past or present, who will be in Town on that day do us the honor of marching with us, whether in uniform or not, to remember all who served and gave their lives for our country.
