Water treatment plant monitoring

Editor’s note: This press release was provided Suez Water. The anemic statement did not specify if this will affect only Hunter Avenue or other streets.

In order to make system improvements, please be advised that water service will be temporarily discontinued while repairs are made to the infrastructure. This work will be happening during the day and interruption should be minimal. The work will begin on Monday October 21st , 2019 at approximately 9:00 am. We estimate that the water will be off approximately 4 hours. Upon completion of work, water service will be restored without additional notice.

Temporary water service will not be available therefore we advise that customers draw water for their needs.

Once water is restored you may experience low water pressure and discolored water.

In case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, the work will be done on the next available business day with no further notification.

We thank you for your cooperation during this unavoidable interruption to your water supply. Should you have any questions or require any further information in this matter please contact our planning department at (914) 637-5325.
