Pelham police awarded AAA Platinum Award for Community Traffic Safety, Pedestrian Safety Commendation Award

On October 17, 2019 Chief Jason Pallett and Lt. Danny Green represented the Village of Pelham at the 2019 American Automobile Association (AAA) Traffic Safety Awards Ceremony.  Awards are presented to communities for their efforts to improve local traffic safety for all modes of travel.  Pelham was awarded with the Platinum Award for Community Traffic Safety and a Pedestrian Safety Commendation Award from AAA Director of Public Affairs John Corlett.  Award levels include Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum are based on traffic safety projects, committees, participation in AAA Traffic Safety programs and statistical measures of success.
