Closure Planned for the Exit 12 Ramp onto the Southbound Hutchinson River Parkway in Mount Vernon, Westchester County

Beginning on or about Saturday morning, April 3rd at 12 a.m. through approximately Sunday morning, April 4th at 12 a.m.
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Westchester County motorists that the Wilson Wood Parks Road ramp onto the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway in the city of Mount Vernon and the village of Pelham will be closed from Saturday, April 3 at 12 a.m. to approximately 12 a.m. on Sunday, April 4 to facilitate bridge construction work, weather permitting.

Motorists should expect delays and utilize Hutchinson Boulevard in Mount Vernon as an alternate.
The lane closures are necessary to facilitate an ongoing bridge replacement and rehabilitation project in Lower Westchester.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
