The Pelham Manor Board of Trustees was honored to present Sanjay Seecharran with a proclamation for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, recognizing his tremendous efforts to improve the Highbrook Highline.

For his Eagle Scout project, Sanjay built a footbridge over the abandoned rail bed, which is now a two-acre park and a beautiful community trail. With assistance from friends, fellow Troop 1 scouts and his project advisor, Sanjay completed the bridge in September 2020. This footbridge is not only enjoyed by the community, but also by the Girl Scouts for their Bridging Ceremony.

A resident of Pelham Manor, Sanjay is a 2021 graduate of PMHS and was declared an Eagle Scout on June 8, 2021.
