Pelham school board to continue review of proposed budget on Wednesday

The Board of Education will meet at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 23 in the Chorus Room of Pelham Middle School (Room 054) located at 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. It is anticipated that the Board will immediately consider a motion to enter executive session to discuss the employment history of a particular person(s). The Board is expected to reconvene in public at approximately 7:30pm for the regular business portion of the meeting in the Middle School Library. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube live.

Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person.

At the meeting, the Board of Education will continue its consideration of the 2022-23 Preliminary Budget.

In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, Finances and Facilities, and the three goal areas of the Strategic Plan: Cultural Competence, Authentic Learning, and the Whole Child.

The Board may also review and/or adopt the following policies: Policy #7554 Dignity for all Students Act (DASA), Policy #7552 Bullying in the Schools and Policy #3422 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. These policies will be available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda.
