The Pelham-based organization the Danny Fund recently received an award for its commitment to the betterment of the Westchester community. The Jaspan Schlesinger Heart of Community Awards are being distributed as part of the law firm’s 75th Anniversary celebration donating to 75 local non-for-profits. The Danny Fund is a 100% volunteer-run, Westchester-based, charitable organization, dedicated to helping families who have a child with a catastrophic illness or injury and offering help and hope.

Carol Melnick joined The Danny Fund as a Member of the Board of Directors in early 2020.  She has been a supporter of the Danny Fund for many years and is proud of the impact the organization has on families in need.
