The Board of Education will meet at 6pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in the Chorus Room of Pelham Middle School (Room 054) located at 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. It is anticipated that the Board will immediately consider a motion to enter executive session to discuss the employment history of a particular person(s). The Board is expected to reconvene in public at approximately 7pm for its annual reorganization meeting in the Middle School Library. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube live.

Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person.

At the meeting, the District Clerk will swear-in recently elected trustees Jackie De Angelis, Natalie Marrero and Will Treves. The Board will also elect its president and vice president.

Following the Reorganization Meeting, the Board will hold a regular business meeting. In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, Finances and Facilities, and the three goal areas of the Strategic Plan: Cultural Competence, Authentic Learning, and the Whole Child.

The Board may also review and/or adopt the following policies: Policy 5684 – Use of Surveillance Cameras in the District and on School Buses and Policy 7553 – Hazing of Students. These policies will be available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda.
