We are incredibly excited to celebrate PMHS Homecoming this weekend and look forward to seeing our students, community members and alumni out on the fields and courts cheering on our student athletes.

Late last week, we were disappointed to learn that Poly Prep, which was scheduled to play our football team Friday night at Glover Field, has forfeited the game. Because of this late cancellation, our Varsity Field Hockey Team will now take on Harrison at 7pm tomorrow, Friday, October 7 on Glover Field. We can’t wait to see the stands packed to support the team Friday night and know that our fans will be out in full force all weekend long to support our Pelicans. Please make sure that you stop by the Booster Club Food Trailer for some tasty treats.

Recognizing that the homecoming football game is an important tradition for our student athletes and our community, the Athletic Department and Dr. Champ have spent the past week trying to schedule a new opponent for this weekend. Unfortunately, due to this last minute cancellation we have not been able to find a new opponent. We know that the football team is chomping at the bit to get back on the field next week and we look forward to supporting them, and honoring our seniors at a future game.

In addition to Friday night’s Field Hockey game, nearly all of our JV and Varsity teams will be competing this weekend. The full schedule is as follows:
