PelhamReads! was a squirrelrific success, thanks to you, our amazing community! Taking place between September 28th – October 2nd, PelhamReads! offered five different events aimed at all ages.  More than 50 book-lovers of all ages came to the library on Oct. 1st for the town-wide celebration of Newbery Medal winner Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures by Kate DiCamillo. The rest of the week’s highlights included a squirrel scavenger-hunt through local businesses, an adults-only Sip and Paint at the Library, and a weekend full of free fun at the Library, Art Center, and The Picture House featuring cape-making, face painting, a comic illustration demo, LEGO demo, awarding of our essay contest winners, and a screening of A Squirrel’s Guide to Success.  And free coffee to fuel the adults, courtesy of Cafe Ami!
