Pelham Recreation invited children with different abilities to play baseball and soccer at Glover Field at the Mindful Sports event on Sunday.

Students from Pelham Middle School and Pelham Memorial High School volunteered at the event.

Courtney Donohoe, the mother of a child who participated, said, “It’s wonderful that Pelham Rec is doing things for children of differing abilities.”

Pelham Recreation hopes to host additional Mindful Sports in the future.
