Downtown burglary: Front window of Verizon shop shattered and iPhones stolen early Friday

By Friday afternoon, a sheet of particle board replaced the broken window at the Verizon store.

A burglar shattered a front window of the Verizon store on Fifth Avenue at around 4 a.m. Friday and stole two iPhones, according to an employee.

The employee said he could offer no additional information.

On Friday evening, a Village of Pelham police officer said the department had no information to provide but would have something to say on Monday.
