Michaels at the Pelham Manor Shopping Plaza is closing on Jan. 18. Many of the products have already been boxed up or sold.

A Michaels employee refused to comment on why the crafts supply store was shutting down but did say the store was relocating to another storefront in Pelham Manor Plaza. According to an email from Michaels Companies Inc. corporate spokeswoman Rebecca Talley, closing the location was a “business decision” by the chain.

The store is discounting its products by 50%, with all sales being final.

“We know that is disappointing to our customers in Pelham Manor, but we hope to continue serving them at our other locations in New York or online at Michaels.com,” said Talley in an email.
