Pelham wins AAA’s Community Traffic Safety Gold Award and Pedestrian Safety Commendation Award

On October 25, 2018 Chief Pallett and Lt. Green represented the Village of Pelham at the 2018 AAA Northeast Community Traffic Safety Awards Ceremony. Pelham was awarded with a Community Traffic Safety Gold Award and a Pedestrian Safety Commendation Award from AAA Director of Public Affairs John Corlett.
The AAA Community Traffic Safety Awards are presented to communities for their efforts to improve local traffic safety for all modes of travel. Award levels are Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum is based on traffic safety projects, active Traffic Safety Committee, participation in AAA Traffic Safety programs and statistical measures of success.
