Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Pelham School District.

The annual PMHS Bridge Academy Thanksgiving lunch was held on Monday, November 20, bringing together students, teachers, school administrators and members of the Board of Education for a pre-holiday feast.

For the 12th consecutive year, the lunch served as a way to celebrate the success of the Bridge Academy, which provides an alternative learning environment for some high school students whose needs are better served in a non-traditional classroom. Led by Director Jeannette Connolly, the program features a more intimate classroom setting with no fewer than two teachers for 20 students. It emphasizes development of academic, social and emotional potential of students and has an extremely high graduation rate.
