Following a brief but heavy storm, several streets, including Fifth Avenue and Highbrook Avenue, among others, remained flooded on Wednesday evening. Some roads were temporarily closed to prevent drivers from encountering the pools of water.

As the storm subsided, a whopping 284 power outages were reported within the Chester Park region of Pelham. At approximately 8:20 p.m., residents on the Citizen app reported a power line within the area to be on fire. Fire trucks quickly arrived on the street in an attempt to tackle the issue.

Additionally, one tree collapsed on 116 Corlies Ave and 425 Washington Ave each due to strong gusts that accompanied the storm.
